Thank you all. Martin, you couldn't have known, but your beautiful riposte is poignant and painful for me. I suspect you are thinking of a mother who is not here to thank for her goodness. I am fortunate to have both mother and grandmother here for that, but I do not have one of my children to thank for making motherhood such a joy for me. It is all the more vivid because he would be graduating high school next week, and these milestones are the toughest.
