Spring.....So Late........

spring has come so late this year
with each cold slowly hesitant step
seeds await her lazy heartless path__
clinging to life in frost bitten earth
all lies empty and needs her touch
her force of life must offer it's own__
only her blood can bring life from death

Red....Ripe Tulips.....

a crown of Lilly's of the valleys
In her golden, and life begins once more

Just A... Little Time......

For Just A Little Time

I long for spring
for just for a little time

For crocus's visits
color busting forth and free
for just for a little time

And daffodils
swaying in springs soft breeze's
for just for a little time

I long for love to encompass me
embolden me
for just a little time

But spring is far away
and love blossoms not

love came so late
who could have known
these two were lovers

trumpet vine
golden yellow
calls tiny hummimgbird
drink drink of my delicate nectar

it is time
the tide comes on moonbeams
gathering all
filling life with meaning

march madness
colorful crocus
heads raised to sun

spring walk
warm sun on back
looking for crocus

sad mourning dove without a mate
cries out his simple plea
will she come, will she answer
each new day he sings waiting
waiting for her echoing call

crocus...sleep

beneath hard ground frost
tiny colors turn in dreams
come spring come colors bloom

Calla Lilys

pale calla lily's
sun kissed laze in springs soft breeze
touched by morning dew
give scents honeyed notes of love
gardens gift pink lily queen
