I'm finding that repeatedly visiting a cemetery while writing seasonal haiku subtly shifts my perspective in ways that can be psychologically quite helpful. I'm toying with the idea of assigning haiku homework more often for some of my clients...

They are places to reflect and to heal. God came very close to me once in a church yard.
