Lovely poem Alan and the photo is a good likeness! ;)It would be fun to see how often you could mention 'periwinkle' in conversation in a day! (Small things and all that!)

An interesting challenge. ;-)

Have you ever been to Falmouth? I was doing an all day haiku fieldbook workshop (9am - 5.30pm) up on the hill in the fortifications, as part of the Falmouth Literature Festival.

The following day I spent the day at the beach and the weather was incredible, and we had sun for the first part, and then watched the rain storm move in from an opposite headland. Glorious!

all my best,

Alan
