birds not seen
in the new green leaves-

on the words I planned

blown away by winter wind
on a spring night

brings a bounce to my step-

youth revisited

my thoughts drift up
the hills, knowing they
will never return-
left, though, with spring,
the one I wanted

years melt
from a new letter-
hint of spring

warm breeze
brings me night time
daydreams
