Beautiful way to express the transition.
Hi Beatrice and Diana,
Sorry for not acknowledging your comments soon. Sakura (cherry) blossoms signify the transitory nature of the ever changing seasons. I tried to picture in my poem the eventual coming of spring and the attendant change in the mood of the people.
