Festive Spring

Bold music bright out

from candy-colored cars

trilling festive spring

in the garden
chatting with the flowers
after today's shift
foggy morning
points at infinity's end
corner red lights
the ripe cherries

in the topmost branches

the worn-out brush in my hand
Rain patters down
from ragged, windswept clouds.
Lobelia blooms.
spring afternoon
the sound of gears and sails
from the windmill
